A great way to say goodbye to summer and kick off the school year. Program includes a night hike with a BREC naturalist learning about local ecology and nocturnal animals, and includes activities and games. End the night around a campfire roasting marshmallows and learning local folklore. Come enjoy this great way to get the family out in nature as the summer heat subsides. Children must be accompanied by an adult and able to complete a 2.5-mile hike in the dark without a light. Scout troops should email in advance of online registration to ensure spaces available
