BREC Invites Public to Celebrate Park and Recreation Month at Liberty Lagoon
BREC is inviting the public to join in the month-long celebration of Park and Recreation Month during a special event on Sat., July 20 from 7-10 p.m. at BREC’s Liberty Lagoon, 111 Lobdell Ave.
The community is invited to participate in the special after-hours celebration at the water park for a reduced admission rate of $5.00 per person. During the event BREC will offer a vast array of exciting activities, including sand volleyball, lily pad races, float races, casting contests, a dunking water balloon chair, pool ping pong and a movie at the Lagoon. (Participants are asked to please bring beach towels and blankets for the movie). The public will also have an opportunity to participate in a video recording to share why they love their park and recreation system.
Limited concessions will be offered and wristbands will be pre-sold at Liberty Lagoon during normal operating hours, which are: Monday - Friday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.; and Sunday, noon - 7 p.m.
