BREC's Tennis Department manages five major tennis centers, each housing its own pro shop that offers tennis resale merchandise, equipment rentals, refreshments and a full staff that manages court reservations and fees. The five major tennis centers provide a number of programs to the community, including tennis instruction, school athletic programs, youth and adult league play and tournaments. Facilities are available for rental to organizations for tournaments, workshops, and high school league practice. There are also 71 neighborhood tennis courts located at recreation centers throughout East Baton Rouge Parish where patrons can play tennis at no charge. Many of our neighborhood courts also include pickleball courts.

Each Monthly Program Guide lists all programs for tennis and pickleball available at all BREC tennis centers, including classes, tournaments, camps, clinics for youth and adults. Schedules may vary by month.

Reserve A Court

Ready to play? Call your local tennis court to reserve a court! Ball machine rental is available at all tennis facilities for $8 per hour plus court fee.

Tournament Reservations

Want to reserve courts for a tournament? Click on the appropriate form below. Adult tournaments serving alcoholic beverages must also complete the Alcohol Policy Contract Addendum.

  

Lessons + Group Classes

Ready to perfect your swing?

Private lessons are available with BREC approved tennis or pickleball instructors. Contact your local tennis facility for more information. Please let us know how your experience was with receiving instruction from a BREC Teaching Professional. Group classes are offered throughout the year. You can register for a group class by following the facility page or visiting register.brec.org.
