BREC to Host Baton Rouge Ladies Amateur Championship
Ladies, get your golf clubs ready! BREC invites all female golfers to participate in the Baton Rouge Ladies Amateur Championship on Nov. 14 and 15 at BREC's Webb Memorial Golf Course, 1351 Country Club Drive.
The Baton Rouge Ladies Amateur Championship will be a 36-hole, individual-stroke play tournament. The field will be flighted after Saturday's first round based on the number of participants. Tee times will run from 8-10:50 a.m. with higher flights teeing off first on Sunday.
The entry fee is $70 per player, which includes one practice round, two tournament rounds with golf cart, tee gift, tournament prizes and lunch after Sunday's final round. The first 72 paid players will participate in the tournament.
Players can register at any BREC golf course. The registration deadline is Wednesday, Nov. 11, or when the field is full. For more information, call the Webb Memorial pro shop at 225-383-4919.
