Evangeline Neighborhood Park

Evangeline Neighborhood Park was purchased on June 29, 1972 and is comprised of 7.9 acres of land. The renovation of this park includes adding a quarter of a mile exercise loop, a new playground, new handicapped accessible sidewalks and parking and a new football practice area. The exercise loop and new walks tie into a renovated basketball court as well as the existing walking bridge that crosses over Hurricane Creek. The existing large ball field has been refurbished and new shade trees have been added throughout the park.
