BREC Youth Summer Baseball Leagues conduct games at the following facilities:

Longfellow Park
Howell Community Park

 

YOUTH MACHINE PITCH & FAST PITCH BASEBALL

BREC works with Louisiana Youth Sports Network's Louisiana Youth Baseball program to provide opportunities for every youth in the Greater Baton Rouge Area to play baseball at their particular age and skill level.

Please note that BREC does not register children for machine pitch or fast pitch baseball. Louisiana Youth Sports Network's Louisiana Youth Baseball manages all registration and youth machine pitch & fast pitch baseball.

10 years and younger
12 years and younger
14 years and younger
15-18 years old

Registration forms are available at any BREC recreation center (for junior sports only) or at BREC's administrative building, 6201 Florida Blvd. from April 1-15.

 

Rainouts/Rescheduled Games
Rainout procedures for all BREC league sports:
The rainout hotline number is 225-273-0657 and is operable from 4-5 p.m. on rainout days.
Official scorers contact coaches when a game is rained out after 5 p.m. when possible.
Coaches are asked to contact parents and players.
If a player does not hear from a coach, the player is asked to arrive at the designated field at the designated time of the contest.
Please use the rainout hotline. Do not call the BREC office. BREC cannot give out the phone numbers of the official scorers.
Rainouts may be scheduled with less than 24 hours notice.
