BREC Urges Parents to Sign up for Summer Camp while Spots Remain Available

BREC is the premier summer camp operator in East Baton Rouge Parish, offering 41 high quality recreation and specialty camps. Since registration began last month, spots are filling up quickly and BREC is urging parents to sign up their children now and not wait until the last minute.

BREC’s Liberty Lagoon will not open this weekend, due to the threat of inclement weather. Liberty Lagoon staff will keep a close eye on weather reports throughout the summer season and will make announcements through the media, web postings and the Liberty Lagoon Facebook page when closures are necessary.

BREC has canceled the Doug Williams Football Camp, Dance and Cheer Clinic scheduled for Sat., May 11 at BREC’s Memorial Stadium due to inclement weather. BREC will send out an announcement if the program is rescheduled.
