RV Campground

The Farr Park RV Camground is adjacent to the Mississippi River, located on historic River Road. It is easily accessible from Interstate 10. The campground has 108 sites (mostly pull-through) and is equipped with water and 50 amp electrical hookups and restroom facilities. Guests will enjoy serene pasture views, safe and clean grounds, access to lighted pavilions, and a staff full of southern hospitality.

The country setting will make you forget that Farr Park RV Campground is located just two miles from the LSU campus; about three miles from groceries, laundry, and other daily needs; six miles from abundant downtown Baton Rouge attractions; and less than 10 miles from some of Baton Rouge's finest dining and shopping.

Our campground also boasts plenty of outdoor activity potential. Inspired by their pasture views, guests can schedule a trail ride or even a lesson, if time permits. Horse owners can rest easy knowing their horses are nice and comfortable in our Horse Hotel while unwinding in our campground or enjoying a delicious meal downtown.

There's plenty of room for a game of catch or Frisbee. Often, our guests take advantage of our access to bike trails. The paved and lighted path on the levee provides a scenic backdrop for a walk or bike ride. Guests can walk/bike two miles on the levee to LSU's Alex Box Stadium or LaHouse. Those looking for a longer journey can easily continue on the USS Kid and the LA Art & Science Museum before heading back. Most guests unfold a blanket or a lawn chair, enjoy the horses, watch the sunset, and relax in good company.

Reservations are not taken for the RV Campground except for LSU football games and large events. Call for more information.
