BREC on the Geaux
To combat “play deserts” and help in the fight against childhood obesity, we created a mobile playground program serving primarily low-income areas. During the school year, our 2 BREC on the Geaux trucks visit 9 different elementary schools each week to provide a fun and unique recess. After school, the trucks travel to communities around the parish for children not attending after-school programs.
