Make a Splash at BREC's Liberty Lagoon
BREC offers Job Opportunities and a New Website
Interested in a summer job packed with fun in the sun? The Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge, BREC, is now hiring for the 2011 season of its first-ever water park, Liberty Lagoon.
BREC is currently accepting applications for the following positions: lifeguards, head lifeguards, assistant aquatics manager, water safety instructors (WSI), ticket sellers, relief supervisor/concessions and cooks. This list and starting wages can be found at Liberty Lagoon's newly-launched website, libertylagoon.com.
The website also provides information about the water park's features, events, rental fees, concessions menu and a map of the park's layout. Liberty Lagoon features a Gator Bowl, Yellow Lunge, Purple Plunge, Lilly's Lilypad Crossing, zero beach crossing, spray pad, water playground, lazy river, vortex pool, pool decking, lap/exercise pool, wet deck, dry deck and a sand volleyball court.
