News BREC Facilities Closed Due to Inclement Winter Weather

Baton Rouge, LouisianaJan 17, 2025Due to the winter storm and impact to our area, all BREC facilities will be closed Tuesday, January 21 through Thursday, January 23, 2025, along with city and state offices and EBR schools. 

BREC facilities will reopen on Friday, January 24.

All recreation centers and special use facilities will open to the public beginning at noon on Friday. All tennis centers will open at normal operating hours.

All Golf courses will be open on Friday as course conditions permit and golf carts will be restricted to cart paths only. Golfers should contact the course of their choice for course specific information.

BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo will open to the public at the normal operating time beginning on Friday at 9:30 a.m.
