Pickleball

Pickleball is a paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

HIGHLAND ROAD PARK TENNIS CENTER AND GREENWOOD PARK RACQUET FACILITY

Indoor Gymnasium Offerings

$5 one-time key fob fee is required for all participants of all ages / $6 for out-of-parish residents.  Fobs are needed for safety and to continue our goal of accurate attendance tracking.

Times indicated after "Youth" are for youth/family play time only (ages 6-15 accompanied by an adult).  All other calendar times are for ages 16+.

Please note the following conditions for the youth/family play times:

  • Adults/guardians must have a child with them between the ages of 6-15 to participate during these designated youth/family times.
  • Adult/adults may have multiple children with them.
  • All participants, including children, must have a key fob to participate.
  • At least one adult/guardian must remain with the child/children for the entire duration of play times.
  • During play time there must be at least one youth playing/participating on each court during a game. 
  • If courts are full and players are waiting, players will wait their turn and rotate in when a game is completed.

391022-00-01 Fall Holiday Youth Pickleball Clinic (Ages 6-17) Monday and/or Wednesday, Nov. 25 and 27, from 8:30-11:30 a.m.  Come out and learn to play pickleball!  Equipment provided.  $30 for one day and $55 for two days.  Registration Deadline:  Thursday, Nov. 21.  Instructor:  Robert Kelly.  Click here to register.

Intermediate and Advanced Pickleball (Ages 18+) Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-9 p.m. (no session Nov. 28).  This is an open play competition opportunity for intermediate and advanced pickleball players.  $5 per person per day includes court fees.

Free Fridays Pickleball/Tennis Play (Ages 18+) Free play every Friday from 8 a.m.-noon. (no session Nov. 29).  All levels.  No charge.

Want to reserve courts for a pickleball tournament?  Adult tournaments serving alcoholic beverages must also complete the Alcohol Policy Contract Addendum.
